New Moon is the beginning of the monthly cycle for the inner self who governs our emotional / spiritual growth – the feminine part of us.

The day before, right up until the the moment when the Moon becomes a New Moon, it is in the time of Dark Moon.  This is when the Moon wanes to her lowest ebb causing us to feel tired, inward & reflective, making this the ideal time to tend to our relationship with ourselves.

How to Self Care During Dark Moon

–  Avoid cooking, instead eat leftovers, delegate or order take-out
–  Take baths to feel held and relax tensions caused by increased psychic sensitivity
–  Get a good night’s sleep by ensuring you’re in bed by 10pm if possible
–  Meditate to view your thoughts so they don’t create dramas
–  Take magnesium to support your nervous system
–  Journal to process the experiences of the past month
–  Go to a Women’s Circle to get support on all levels; emotional, psychological, physical and energetic
