When we face times of transition – such as divorce, retrenchment or retirement, menopause or perimenopause, our kids leaving home – it can feel like our world has fallen apart and we are being tossed and turned on a stormy sea of emotion.

If our emotions focus on the outside world at these times, it can quickly carry us into the role of victim.  But when we move inward, deep within ourselves, we can again find our centre, our anchor in the chaos of our world.

Mindfulness, conscious breathing and meditation are excellent ways to move inward and ground ourselves.
