As children, many of us were told off for saying something unkind. We were taught to always find something nice to say, and if we couldn’t, then we were better saying nothing at all.  But for some people this can lead to feelings of never being heard as adults.  They can then come to believe they’re being taken for granted and rarely supported by those around them.  But there is a happy point between being the ‘nice girl’ never saying a bad word and speaking in a manner that’s blunt, rude or disempowering.

So, I’m absolutely thrilled to introduce you to one of our brilliant contributors who is an expert in this area.  Kim Adele is a powerful Healer and Spiritual Teacher, Psychotherapist, Educator and Labyrinth Facilitator.

Kim is also a Master Facilitator with the Virtues Project™, a global grassroots initiative to inspire the practice of virtues in everyday life and spark a global revolution of kindness, justice, and integrity.  She has spent many years helping children, parents and teachers develop clear, strong and supportive communication in order to overcome and change undermining communication patterns.

Kim is here with me today to generously share her wisdom and guidance about how you too can change the way in which you communicate to empower yourself and others through the language you use.

I hope you enjoy this podcast where Kim and I discuss

how to “Empower Through Language”.
