When you look for the good in your world, and in your experience of your world, your body responds by producing DHEA.

DHEA is a performance enhancing chemical which inhibits the production of cortisol (a stress hormone) and plays a key role in mood regulation and the body’s stress response.

Research from 2000 shows that people with an “attitude of gratitude” undo the cardiovascular after-effects of negative emotions¹.  The signals travelling from the heart work at optimum levels.

The feeling of wellbeing that DHEA causes can last in the body for hours.  This means we think clearly, our memory improves and we make better decisions.
