Stress is all around us: at home, at the job, in school, about our health, in our communities and in our relationships. How we handle stress and what we do to minimise it has a huge effect on our health and wellness and how we cope with any illness we do get.
It’s not what you do with a good day, it’s what you do with a bad one that matters.
When you’re under constant stress your health suffers. You either get sick or get a flare-up of recurring or chronic problems. So you end up on a merry-go-round of poor health which means you can’t fully enjoy life. This then leads to more health problems and so on, until you feel like you’re stuck in quicksand.
While we’d all love to be stress-free, the truth is that stress is a fact-of-life. So instead of falling victim to it, get smart and introduce practices which diffuse stress as a regular part of your daily life.
