Feeling unsafe, fearful, insecure, restless or lacking energy indicates that your root chakra at the base of your spine is out of balance.  When our root chakra is out of balance we feel unbalanced.  Negative, self-defeating thought patterns and behaviours start to develop and these lead to tension in the mind, body, emotions and soul

These affirmations rebalance your root chakra and help you feel supported, connected, grounded and safe in your own body. Repeat them on a regular basis so they literally re-wire the neural pathways to produce results.

Say them every morning before you get going in your day, during your meditation practice, before going to sleep or simply at any time through your day. Affirmations are more effective if they’re repeated a few times each day.  Either say them to yourself in your mind or speak them out loud as this helps to empower them.

I find it helps to have a trigger that reminds you to say them, such as every time you turn on the kitchen tap, or climb the stairs, or open a particular door, or start your car.  Choose something you do a few times every day and use that action to help remind you to repeat your affirmations.
