Learning how to use our intuition is more important now than it ever has been before because we are exposed to more information, more opinion and more distraction than ever before.
Every day we’re exposed to an absolute glut of information which flows through our mind and our nervous system like a tsunami, stressing us and leaving us overwhelmed, anxious, confused and shutting down. This continual overload through news, TV, social media, YouTube and all the other online sources, can limit our ability to make empowered choices and to act with Wisdom. Fine tuning your intuition can help you with this. When you learn to laser focus your intuition you unleash a powerful tool to support and guide you as you navigate through the onslaught.
Way back in 2012 we were exposed to the equivalent of over one hundred and seventy four 85-page newspapers full of information and data, every single day…is what a UCLA study found. Stop for a moment and consider just how much information that represents every day.
By 2014, just two years later, the amount of daily data we were being exposed to had tripled. That was 7 years ago. The amount of information we’re exposed to every day has continued to grow at a faster and faster rate every year since then, and it will continue to do so in the future.
As a result of this deluge of data many people have become frozen – locked down by overwhelm from the sheer volume of this information overload. They no longer take in information properly and instead they skim read or view, or simply read headlines, taking in just a snippet of each item.
As a result many people have become lost and no longer know what direction to take.
Survive The Information Age
We are now in the early years of the Information Age. And because there’s simply too much information for us to absorb, rationalise or even think about, it’s literally forcing us towards strengthening our intuition.
The only way we will survive and thrive in this Age of Information is to develop our intuition so it can guide us to successfully ride that ever-growing tsunami wave.
This is bigger than anything we have experienced in the past which is why the old intuition is no longer enough. The energy is shifting fast and we need more powerful and precise ways of using our intuition to help us if we are to navigate successfully through the Information Age.
We now need to become very precise and clear about how we access and use our intuition. In order to bring in the level of exactitude we require we need to be able to instantly focus it like a laser. Because only then can we use it to become wiser, clearer, confident, more focused, more abundant, and more energised, and to help us shift out of the overwhelm.
Intuition: An Intelligence And Wisdom
Intuition is a form of expanded intelligence.
Our ability to use intuition together with perception, helps us find solutions to problems that we might have in any area of our life. When it’s serving us we are able to come up with innovative new ideas that nobody’s ever thought of before. The intuitive sparks we receive can deeply serve our mission.
Intuition helps us reduce stress by bringing clarity to our indecision, and it helps us communicate more powerfully.
Some people suspect intuition of being akin with magic. However, intuition is actually an intelligence and wisdom inherent in every single cell of our body, all 100 trillion of them. Each of those cells gathers information from the environment and feeds it back through our nervous system to provide us with guidance and direction.
Intuition is the ability to be in a certain situation and to be able to gather all the available information from the environment. Once we are in possession of this vast information we can use it to serve our needs and our highest good.
Intuition garners this information on both the basic survival levels and on evolutionary levels. It is a deep, multi-faceted intelligence that can guide us to evolutionary outcomes.
Intuition is not magic, it’s intelligence
How does intuition show up to guide you in making choices in your life?
Do you struggle to recognise when the message is truly your intuition?
Do you second-guess yourself before you can even take action?
Our task is to learn to recognise and trust intuition when it shows up.
However, this can be one of the greatest difficulties in working successfully with intuition.
