The number one person you communicate with is yourself.  You converse with your internal self on a daily basis, and those internal conversations provide the framework through which you view the world and influence every part of your life, your self-esteem, relationships, attitudes, successes and even whether you are happy.

If the inner you is a judgmental, critical and belittling bully you have little chance to find real happiness.  Learning to recognise the negative voice inside your head is the first step in silencing it.

We’re all just doing our best and it would be so much easier if that inner voice said “There, there you’re doing your best” instead of “What did you do that for?  What’s wrong with you, are you stupid or something?”
