I love this explanation from Dr Bruce Lipton about the power of thought.  He has such an amazing ability to put this complex stuff into plain language.

“Quantum physics has shown that our experiences in the physical world are deeply connected to the inner workings of our minds.

Our minds create perceptions, and our perceptions result in chemical changes in our bodies that ultimately affect our biology.

In other words, how we think has an effect on how we feel. And how we feel, in turn, affects how we think.

So, if we wake up every morning feeling anxious or thinking that life is a struggle, then our brains will initiate the production of stress hormones (cortisol, norepinephrine, adrenaline, etc.), which inevitably shut off our immune system, our growth, and our ability to think.

Now, imagine what would happen if we felt this way day in and day out.

Needless to say, we must break this cycle if we are to achieve mind-body-spirit wellness”
