There comes a moment for every Spiritual Adventurer when they begin to doubt and question the old habits, beliefs and actions that they unconsciously adopted as a framework for themself and their life.  And as a Spiritual Adventurer yourself, so it is for you at some time.

This is the moment you wake up to life.

As you sense there is much more to the mystery of life than you ever realised your awareness is triggered. You begin to see with greater clarity that much of what you were taught as a child, and that you adopted as your truth, is not aligned with your values.

And as you begin the search for deeper and more meaningful understanding your Spiritual Awakening begins.

With this Spiritual Awakening you begin to question your purpose in this life. You seek to know more; why you are here, the circle of life and death, and the deeper nature of life.  You begin to seek deeper meaning, wishing to discover a state of higher consciousness.

Transitioning through this time can be frightening and can feel as if you are caught in the void.  Often those around you can’t understand your new focus and they drop away, no longer there to support you.

Some call this time the Dark Night of the Soul.  But, as with every Hero’s Journey, you must journey down into the depths, and face the challenge or test that presents itself to you, if you are to emerge cleansed and renewed.

During this process of evolution and expansion you begin to re-engage with your Higher Self, your Soul.  You are always connected, that never stops, but for some time, perhaps your entire life, you have not been actively engaged with your Higher Self.

Create Space For The New

As your relationship with your Higher Self starts to grow you begin to experience the stirrings of transformation.  You begin to find peace, freedom and joy.  But at the same time, you may also feel confused, as your life no longer seems to make any sense.

In many ways this process can be likened to what you need to do when you want to upgrade your computer.  In order to install new software, you need to first clear out all the old, outdated programs.  If you don’t do this first the new software won’t work properly.

The confusion and suffering you may experience during this period of transition has a similar purpose, as the old running system is broken apart and cleared out, paving the way for the new.  This time is a dismantling, or death, of all your outdated beliefs and habits.

As you discard old ways of thinking and beliefs, your perspectives shift and you can no longer view the world in your old unconscious and unaware way.  You begin to find answers from which more questions arise, and to experience breakthroughs which bring you joy and hope.

But again, the impetus that is life brings disillusionment, until once again you begin to question everything as you search for authenticity, truth, and deep engagement with Source.

Again, you clear out all the crap, including all the inauthentic, superficial rubbish and New Age paraphernalia that masquerades as spirituality.  And again you go searching for more, for something deeper than feel-good self-help, something more than pretty trinkets.  You become a student of transpersonal philosophies or ultimately, deep Mystic principles.

Remember Who You Truly Are

And as you integrate the lessons along this path and gain insight from the inner work you have done; as you began to incorporate these into your everyday life; as you create new habits in your life and your thoughts; you make deep and long-lasting change as you engage ever more deeply with the Divine.

And here you have come full circle, through the journey of transformation, to the true Divine purpose of your life on Earth, as it is for each of us, to remember who you truly are, a divine spark of Source energy.
