February 1 & 2 marks the harvest festival of Lughnasadh in the southern hemisphere. Also known as Lammas,  it’s the time to reap the bounty of summer and to give thanks and show your appreciation.

Whether you follow earth festivals or not, the next two days are a good chance to celebrate what you’ve harvested in your own life over the last twelve months.

With the warmth of summer in full force it’s hard to imagine we’re already moving towards Autumn, but the cycles continually turn, and we feel coherent and balanced when we turn along with them.

Here are some things you can do which will be supported by the Lughnasadh energy:
❀  Declutter, throw out, give away
❀  Help out your neighbour
❀  Recycle, mulch, save water
❀  Start a savings plan (today’s energy will help you get started)
❀  Be generous – give something up and use the money to help someone
