Have you ever felt that longing to throw in your job and follow your creative instincts, even if it’s only occasionally, such as when things go pear shaped at work?
For many of us, after so much time spent in abnormal conditions over the last few years – time spent locked down at home when we’d normally be out in the world – that nagging feeling became more insistent, as we suddenly had more of that precious commodity of time available to us.
After this period of living more quietly than we ever have before, many of us are now re-evaluating what it is that’s really important to us, and what parts of our life we need to take forward. With time on our hands we’ve had the space to recognise there’s a hole in our lives, where we have lost an integral part of ourselves. And we’ve come to realise that conscious creativity lies at the heart of the healthier world that we envisage.
A few years back, my guest did a complete flip from her professional role in order to follow her creative urge. Elena Paige had built a successful brand as Helen Paige, offering intuitive healings, divine communication and meditation CD’s for over 15 years before pivoting into her new brand of Elena Paige, children’s book author and creative.
Over the last four years she has written and independently published over 20 children’s books with many more in the works. And today she joins me to talk about her pivot from Healer to Creative, and to offer advice about how you too can bring about that change, as we discuss Conscious Creativity in a Fractured World.
